Tooheys Evans Head Old Boys Sportsman’s Dinner at Club Evans RSL

A Legendary Night of Rugby League Stories at Club Evans RSL

What an absolutely brilliant night! The Tooheys Evans Head Old Boys Sportsman’s Dinner at Club Evans RSL brought together great mates, cold beers, plenty of laughs and some truly legendary rugby league stories.

The evening featured three absolute icons of the game who joined the Evans Head community to share their memories and mix with the crowd. NSW Blues and Canberra Raiders legend Laurie Daley, Queensland Maroons and Brisbane Broncos legend Allan Langer, and Queensland and Canberra Raiders legend Gary Belcher, who also kept the night rolling as MC, made for an unforgettable lineup.

Having three players of that calibre right here in Evans Head – sharing stories from the glory days of rugby league, having a laugh and genuinely connecting with everyone in the room – was a real privilege for the whole community.
