Local Girls Rugby League Team Earns Spot in Regional Finals

Everyone at Club Evans RSL is bursting with pride for the Evans River K-12 Community School 14s Girls Rugby League team. After a brilliant performance at the Far North Coast Jamie Chapman Rugby League 9s competition, the girls have earned their place in the North Coast Regional 9s Finals.

The team will head to Coffs Harbour on 22 September to compete at the regional finals – a fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work and dedication of every player involved.

A Community Effort Worth Celebrating

Results like this don’t happen without a whole team behind the team. Congratulations go to all the players who gave everything on the field, as well as the coaches who prepared them and the supporters who cheered them on throughout the competition.

Seeing young local athletes represent their school and community at a regional level is exactly the kind of achievement that makes Evans Head so special. We’ll all be cheering you on in Coffs Harbour – go get ’em, girls!
