Join us tomorrow morning at Club Evans RSL to honor Anzac Day, a significant day in Australian history. The day begins with the Dawn Service at 5:20 am, where we will gather on Woodburn St and march down to Memorial Park for the service at the Monument. Breakfast will be served at the club from 7 am to 8 am.
Following the Dawn Service, there will be a Memorial Aerodome event from 8:15 to 8:30 am. Departing from the RSL around 8 am, a bus will take attendees to the venue. The War Cemetery service will follow from 9:15 to 9:30 am, with a bus available to take participants to the Cemetery and then to Park St near the ambulance station.
The day’s events continue with the Evans Head March from 10 am to 10:30 am, where a procession will form up on Park St, move onto Oak St, left onto Woodburn St, and conclude back at Club RSL. This march will include a special flyover with the assistance of Amberley Air Force.
The day’s services culminate with a lunch at the RSL and a fun-filled 2UP activity at the club from 1:30 to 5:30 pm. We look forward to seeing you there as we come together to pay tribute to our fallen heroes on Anzac Day. Lest We Forget.
