It was a great honor for the Club to host Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, during her visit to Evans Head. As the representative of His Majesty King Charles III in New South Wales, the Governor’s role is distinguished and historically significant, dating back to Captain Arthur Phillip RN in 1788.
Her Excellency visited Evans Head as part of her tour of the Northern Rivers region, specifically the Royal Australian Air Force Evans Head Air Weapons Range. The community of Evans Head was thrilled to showcase their spirit and welcome such a prestigious guest.
We are truly grateful to Her Excellency for her time and dedication to our region. It was a historic moment for Evans Head, and the community took great pride in hosting the Governor of New South Wales during her Northern Rivers tour.
