William Alexander is a fresh new talent in the world of traditional Australian country music. With a rich voice that commands attention and a deep respect for the genre’s legacy, this young singer-songwriter weaves soul and storytelling into every heartfelt performance.

A true lover of the old songs, William channels the timeless sound of classic country – shaped by years working on farms and stations across New South Wales. His vocal delivery is filled with authenticity and raw emotion, while remaining deeply rooted in his Australian identity.

Award-Winning Artist

2024 marked a breakthrough year for William with the release of his long-awaited album, The Singing Stockman, which earned two Golden Guitar Award nominations at the 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival. He was also named the winner of the 2025 Thornton Young Award, supported by LWM House and the CMAA – further cementing his place as a rising star in contemporary country music.
