Club Evans Hosts CMAA Country Managers Conference Tour

May 8, 2026

Welcoming Regional Club Leaders

Club Evans RSL was proud to welcome members of the Club Managers Association of Australia recently as part of the CMAA Country Managers Conference Northern Rivers Clubs Tour. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the strength, resilience, and community spirit that defines regional clubs across our area.

The tour brought together club managers from across the country to experience firsthand the diverse operations and inspiring stories of Northern Rivers clubs. From hearing about the remarkable rebuilding efforts at Lismore Workers Club following the devastating floods, to exploring how local clubs serve their communities, the day highlighted the vital role clubs play in bringing people together.

Sharing Our Story

At Club Evans RSL, we were pleased to share our focus on live entertainment, major events, and fishing tournaments – all designed to create memorable experiences for locals and visitors alike. While we may be a small club, we take great pride in what we offer and the role we play in our beautiful coastal community.

The tour included visits to Evans Head Bowling Club and other regional venues, each showcasing their unique contributions to community life. It was inspiring to connect with fellow club managers and share insights about how we each serve our members and support our local areas.

Supporting Regional Clubs

A big thank you to the CMAA and everyone involved in organising the tour, and to all the clubs who participated in making the day such a success. Events like this strengthen our regional club industry and remind us of the important work we all do.

We’re always happy to open our doors and welcome visitors to Evans Head. It’s what community clubs are all about.
