Aged & Disability Expo at Club Evans

March 4, 2026

Community Connection and Support

Club Evans was proud to host the Aged & Disability Expo today, bringing together valuable resources and support services for our local community. Organised by Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre and supported by Richmond Valley Council, the event provided an excellent opportunity for residents to connect with informative speakers and exhibitors.

The day featured a range of presentations and displays, with various organisations sharing information about services and support available to aged and disabled community members. Attendees had the chance to speak directly with service providers, ask questions, and gather resources to help navigate the support systems available in our region.

Special Thanks

A special thank you goes to Ellen Briggs, who did a wonderful job as MC for the day, keeping the event running smoothly and ensuring everyone felt welcome. We were also honoured to have Mayor Robert Mustow attend and support the event, demonstrating the council’s commitment to accessibility and community wellbeing.

The success of the expo was made possible by everyone who came along to participate, learn, and engage with the various exhibitors. It was fantastic to see our community come together in such a meaningful way, with people connecting, sharing experiences, and discovering new pathways to support.

Events like these highlight the importance of community spaces like Club Evans, where local organisations can gather to provide vital information and services. Thank you to Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre for organising such a valuable event, and to all the exhibitors and speakers who contributed their time and expertise.
