Club Evans Hosts CMAA Conference Tour

May 8, 2026

Welcoming Club Managers to Evans Head

Club Evans RSL was proud to welcome members of the Club Managers Association of Australia recently as part of the CMAA Country Managers Conference Northern Rivers Clubs Tour. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the strength, resilience, and community spirit that defines regional clubs across the Northern Rivers.

The tour was a celebration of what makes our local clubs so special. From hearing the inspiring rebuilding story from Lismore Workers Club after the devastating floods, to sharing the diverse operations of clubs throughout the region, the day highlighted the important role clubs play in bringing communities together and supporting local areas.

Sharing Our Story

At Club Evans RSL, we were pleased to share our focus on live entertainment, major events, and fishing tournaments – all key elements that create great experiences for both locals and visitors to our coastal community. While we may be a small club, we’re passionate about what we do and the role we play in Evans Head.

The tour provided valuable insights into how regional clubs operate and adapt to serve their communities. It was inspiring to connect with fellow club managers and learn from each other’s experiences, challenges, and successes.

Community and Industry Support

We’re always happy to open our doors and welcome visitors to our beautiful coastal community. A big thank you to the CMAA and everyone involved in the tour, and to all the clubs and organisers who made the day such a success.

Club Evans RSL remains committed to supporting our community and the regional club industry. Together, we continue to strengthen the bonds that make our clubs vital community hubs.
