As another fantastic Evans Head Fishing Classic comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a success. To the competitors, organisers, volunteers, sponsors, weigh-in teams, entertainment, our staff, members, visitors and the wider Evans Head community – thank you.

Your support, enthusiasm and hard work created another memorable week that showcased everything that makes our town and our Club so special. It has been wonderful to see so many people enjoying Club Evans RSL throughout the week, and we’re proud to once again play our part in hosting one of Australia’s great fishing events.

What’s Coming Up at Club Evans RSL

While the Fishing Classic may be over, there’s still plenty happening at the Club over the coming weeks.

This Sunday, catch the highly anticipated McGregor vs Holloway fight LIVE from 11am on the biggest screen in Evans Head. It’s set to be a huge event, so come down early and grab a good spot.

Next Saturday, Club Evans RSL is proud to host the Richmond Valley Business Awards – a special night celebrating the outstanding businesses and people that make our region thrive. We’re honoured to be part of recognising the best of what our local community has to offer.

And coming soon, Australian country music star Amber Lawrence will be performing live at the Club, alongside a fantastic line-up of free entertainment and special events over the coming months. It’s shaping up to be a great calendar of events, so keep an eye out for more details.
